Replanting Trees

Sally Ito's massive Manitoba Maple tree fell over during the storms last fall. Last September, Mayor Brian Bowman challenged Winnipeggers plant 1 million trees to preserve the city's tree canopy. Ito is thinking of replanting in the spring, but her and others have concerns over how the city handled the cleanup from the storm.

With spring coming up, some folks are considering replanting trees they lost in the storm last fall, while others share concerns on how the city handled the clean up.
