Polar Bear Day
International Polar Bear Day is February 27, and experts are using the day to stress the risk of climate change to polar bears habitats. The Assiniboine Park Zoo has nine polar bears and full-time conservation researchers like C-Jae Breiter.
Polar bear’s have a great sense of smell, and volunteers say that if people visit the zoo often enough the bears will be able to recognize them by their scent. /FIEBELKORN
